Despite heavy persistent rain on the way to the Peak District and a poor weather forecast, the group of 18 walkers enjoyed a completely dry, but cloudy 10 mile walk.

Starting from the National Park Information Centre, we crossed to the eastern side of Ladybower Reservoir before heading south-east to Wellhead and begining the steep climb to Derwent Edge. We then proceeded north to Howden Edge then west to the Derwent Reservoir and finally walked alongside the Derwent Reservoir back to the starting point.
