Bus GIF animation

A number of different bus operators provide services in the East Lincolnshire area. These include Lincolnshire Stagecoach, TransLinc, Hunt's Coaches, Brylaine Travel and Grayscroft Coaches.

Stagecoach is the principal operator in the county. All of Stagecoach's timetables can be viewed on the Stagecoach web site and printed Stagecoach timetables local to Skegness, Louth, Lincoln and Grimsby can be obtained from their respective bus stations.

The County Council produce a series of 12 localised timetable booklets covering the services of all operators. These can be bought from newsagents in each specific local area or obtained direct from Lincolnshire County Council.

InterConnect routes provide frequent bus services between major centres of population in Lincolnshire. Feeder bus services from neighbouring villages along the route inter-connect with the main route at key interchange hubs.

InterConnect services relevant to the area covered by this web site are:

InterConnect 6, Skegness to Lincoln.
InterConnect 7, Skegness to Boston.
Coastal Connect 9, Skegness to Louth.
InterConnect 3, Lincoln to Grimsby.
InterConnect 5, Boston to Lincoln.
InterConnect 100, Louth to Grimsby.

From Monday to Saturday InterConnect services operate hourly throughout most of the day. Coastal Connect 9 and InterConnect 6 and 7 also have a limited Sunday service.

Detailed timetables for InterConnect routes can be viewed on the InterConnect web site and printed copies are available free from county libraries along each route or direct from Lincolnshire County Council.

The 2 Royal Mail Postbus services which operated in the Lincolnshire Wolds have now ceased.

The south of our area is served by a rail line running from Boston to Skegness. In the north, rail lines serve both Market Rasen and Grimsby. The County Council produce a rail timetable booklet which can be bought from newsagents or obtained direct from Lincolnshire County Council.
